Plant Manager - Salt Lake City Salary : $ 150,000.00- $160,000.00 + 10 % Quarter Bonus + 12% 401k The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production facility for manufacturing reinforcement mesh and bars. This role includes managing daily operations, ensuring optimal production efficiency, maintaining product quality, and fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management and a solid understanding of steel or construction-related production processes.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in Wire Mesh manufacturing, steel, construction materials, or related industries.Strong knowledge of production processes, quality management systems, and safety regulations.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in production management software and standard office applications.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Production Management:Oversee the production of reinforcement mesh and bars, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.Team Leadership:Lead, train, and motivate the plant team, including supervisors and production staff.Establish clear goals and performance expectations for all team members.Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.Promote a safe working environment for all employees.Quality Control:Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high product standards.Address customer complaints or quality issues in a timely and effective manner.Maintenance and Equipment:Oversee maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure reliability and efficiency of production assets.Budgeting and Cost Management:Develop and manage the plant’s operational budget.Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.Strategic Planning:Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for growth and competitiveness.Evaluate and implement new technologies or processes to enhance production capabilities.KEY COMPETENCIES:Leadership and team development.Analytical thinking and decision-making.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Commitment to safety and quality.Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment.*Excellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750; free concierge primary care; voluntary 401k plan currently matching up to 12%; voluntary dental and vision plans; free telemedicine services; basic life, long and short term disability coverage.
