Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer with strong experience in MATLAB, Simulink, and TargetLink to support battery management system (BMS) development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and implementing embedded control algorithms using model-based development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Develop and maintain control models using MATLAB/Simulink and TargetLink .
\n
• Design, develop, and implement Model-Based Design (MBD) solutions for automotive battery systems.
\n
• Work on Battery Management System (BMS) models, including battery monitoring, control, diagnostics, and related functions.
\n
• Convert Simulink models into production-ready embedded C code using TargetLink .
\n
• Perform model simulation, testing, debugging, and verification.
\n
• Support model-in-the-loop (MIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and related validation activities.
\n
• Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineering teams to ensure successful integration.
\n
• Analyze requirements and translate them into functional models and software components.
\n
• Troubleshoot model and code-generation issues and support continuous improvements.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink .
\n
• Experience with TargetLink for model-based development and automatic code generation.
\n
• Strong understanding of Model-Based Design (MBD) methodologies.
\n
• Experience working with Battery Management Systems (BMS) or automotive battery systems.
\n
• Good understanding of embedded software development and C/C++.
\n
• Experience with simulation, model validation, and code generation.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Automotive industry experience.
\n
• Experience with battery control algorithms, SOC/SOH estimation, battery diagnostics, or thermal management .
\n
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN/CAN FD .
\n
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR and embedded automotive software development.
\n
• Experience with testing and validation tools.
\n

Education & Experience

\n
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field .
\n
• Typically 3+ years of experience in MBD, MATLAB/Simulink, TargetLink, or automotive embedded systems.
\n
